When it came to the makeup direction for our fashion week show we wanted to use a makeup look that you could wear everyday. Not only do I have young actors with a no make up look, I also have teens with acne, adults, and many multi cultural ethnicities. The Director of Photography and camera crew noticed right away how beautiful the skin tone looked, the producers where thrilled that I could maintain on set without a lot of touchups, which are always time consuming. As we know time is money! Also the actors are very happy that they are not wearing alot of make up. What more can I say, Jane Iredale Minerals has changed the way I do make up from now on. I just want to let you know that I love, love, love your Liquid Minerals. Warm Silk is a great match for my skin tone, and just a tiny drop makes my skin look flawless and lasts all day. The pump bottle should win every packaging award that exists. It is spill-proof, and allows you to use every last drop of the product. I use it every day and one bottle lasted five months! It's clear that you really care about the quality of the products that carry your name. Your goal to improve the look and texture of each individual's skin is something that is overlooked in the cosmetic community. Most companies seem content to cash in on the latest trends. I 'm a photographer and some of my clients ask me to do their makeup prior to their photo session. I always reach for your products. They work fabulously on all skin types; I use your bases on men, as well, to cover imperfections.
I just want to KISS you for coming up with such a WONDERFUL product! (Amazing Base loose powder). In my 25 years as a make-up artist I truly have not found a cosmetic that would actually help my rosacea condition.
S.V. Each Jan./Feb. is my get-serious time with my skin. This year it was a 70% glycolic peel. I've been a great teaching example of photodamage for my patients!! However, I decided that enough sympathy was enough and it was time to get back to make-up. Spending less than 5 minutes to dust on my Jane Iredale products, I immediately got patient comments: “you have such beautiful skin; I wish I could look like you.” That comment would set my staff howling with laughter. I would just show my patients my blotchy upper chest and tell them my face looks the same! My “beautiful skin” this week is thanks to Jane! Jane Iredale products are really the best I've ever seen . . . and I had a large bathroom drawer full of tons of other stuff. We have been using it at the office for several years. It really is so much fun to have an acne/rosacea/facial vascular/dark circles under eyes etc. patient come in for treatment suggestions. We do all the medical evaluation, start her on Rx's etc., and tell her it will be weeks before she sees medical improvement. However, before she goes, I ask my esthetician to try a little of the Jane Iredale powder. By the time she leaves, the patient looks great!! The quick fix really helps compliance with the slower medical treatments. B.B. I have found your products easy to apply (flawlessly) and wonderful to wear. I also appreciate the rich and wonderful array of colors you offer. I have especially enjoyed the cream-to-powder eye liners... they have proven to be the perfect answer to the “too severe” pencil and liquid liners as well as the messy powders. I have tried many cosmetic lines from MAC to Bare Escentuals to GloMinerals and everything in between. Jane Iredale cosmetics are in a class by themselves. I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE your products! I am 27 years old and have been battling problem skin for almost half my life! I recently discovered that my makeup (which I wear diligently) was a contributing factor for my breakouts. Frustrated, I tried several different brands which claim they are “oil free” and “non-comedogenic”, and are fine for oily/breakout susceptible skin. Nothing worked. As an African American woman, I've never been able to find a foundation base or cover-up enabling me to completely camouflage the blemishes and scars on my face, due to adult acne, without looking like a corpse or clown. I went to a dermatologist who gave me a make-over and I was astonished! Not only did your product line hide my numerous blemishes, it also allowed me to look completely natural for the first time in my life. I tested my husband when I got home, and he didn't believe I was wearing any makeup. He thought the doctor had done something to erase my scars. I am equally amazed at how well your bases and enlightening concealer work, and how soft your brushes are. You have truly changed my life and I no longer need to be embarrassed to take pictures. Of all the cosmetics I've used in my life, I always ended up looking like I was wearing a mask in photos so I learned not to allow my picture to be taken. Not anymore, though, thanks to you. No part of my face is untouched by scars, but your makeup covered everything and allowed my natural face to shine through at the same time. Plus, I don't feel like I'm wearing a layer of Vaseline on my face at the end of the day. I feel like I can wear your makeup all day and night without constantly blotting my face!!!
